Congratulations to Luis Rafael Miranda Rodriguez, who has been given the award "Outstanding Research Presentation" by the 2023 SACNAS National Diversity in Stem conference held in Portland, Oregon. SACNAS, or the Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to achieving diversity in the Stem field by providing a community that celebrates culture and identity along with encouraging technological advancement. Luis has received this prestigious award on account of his work, which he presented during SACNAS's annual conference.
